In Morocco, a new psychosocial rehabilitation facility has been launched to support people living with severe mental and psychological disorders.
The project, initiated under the leadership of Mohammed VI, aims to provide long-term care, therapy, and social reintegration programs for patients who previously had limited access to specialized mental-health services.
Health officials say the center will combine medical treatment, vocational training, and community support programs, helping patients rebuild their lives and return to society with dignity.
Experts say the initiative is part of a broader national effort to strengthen mental-health infrastructure and reduce the treatment gap in the country.
