Years of armed conflict in the Central African Republic are leaving behind more than physical destruction—mental health experts warn of a growing crisis among children and young adults exposed to violence.
Aid organizations report increasing cases of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression, particularly among displaced populations. With limited access to mental health services, many victims suffer in silence.
