Botswana: Botswana has rolled out the Mental Wellness Outreach Program, bringing mental health services to remote rural communities where access to care was historically limited. Health Minister Edwin Kgosi noted that mobile clinics equipped with trained counselors are bridging the gap, ensuring early detection and intervention. “Mental health is not just an urban issue; it affects every corner of our country. Our outreach is helping families talk about it openly,” he emphasized.
